JOB SUMMARY: (the purpose of the role)

The eCommerce Product Associate is responsible for sorting, scanning and tagging inventory for online sales. The eCommerce Production Associate reports to the eCommerce Product Manager.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Accountabilities = the WHAT. The specific outcomes or results that an experienced person in this job is expected to contribute to the goals and performance of Goodwill. Include financial/budget accountabilities that the individual has direct or indirect impact on. Responsibilities = the HOW. The specific duties that an experienced person in this job is expected to perform in the achievement of their accountabilities.


  • Sort and scan a high volume of product accurately.
  • Create outbound shipments to be stored in the warehouse.
  • Record metrics including daily goals and complete the daily checklist.
  • Maintain the security of all merchandise and promote Loss Prevention procedures.


  • Grade and determine condition of items based on customer satisfaction guidelines.
  • Focus on Quality Control procedures to ensure that every item has the condition graded correctly.
  • Provide support to the eCommerce Production Coordinator to ensure smooth operations.
  • Continually provide suggestions and feedback for work improvements.
  • Exhibit a professional image to the public, your co-workers, our customers and Program Participants.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: (education, work experience, and technical competencies)

  • Must be able to meet daily goals and deadlines.
  • Must be able to stand throughout the work shift.
  • Must be able to properly lift 65lbs throughout the work shift.
  • Respects and has knowledge of cultures, ethnicities, gender, sexual orientations and age groups other than one’s own, able to work effectively with all.
